![]() The 16.9 update is a major update that changes the entire object model of Excel. Running on a Mac Mini 2012 with 16Gb RAM, 500Gb Samsung SSD, 2.5Ghz Intel i5 processor, MacOS High Sierra 13.2. This version 16.9 update only occurred yesterday, so not a lot on the web yet re: this issue.Īm I doing something wrong? Being stupid? (wouldn't be the first time) Did I provide enough info re: the issue? Just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. ![]() Specifically, I was trying to format the bin values on a Histogram. However, when I click on the Horizontal Legend or Axis on a Histogram, Box and Whisker, Tree Map or Sunburst (the newly introduced chart types), I can right click and select 'Format Legend' or 'Format Axis', but the Format box to the right does not appear, On any other chart type (Bar/Column/Line, etc), if I right click on the Horizontal Axis and click 'Format Axis', I get a selection box to the right with various tabs and options in those tabs. Perhaps I don't know enough about these charts. I was very happy to see the inclusion of Histogram, Box & Whisker, Tree Map and Sunburst chart types for the Mac version of Excel 2016 with the update.
